Alliance Anti Trafic (AAT Thailand) is an organization working to respond to and prevent trafficking in persons (TIP) and other forms of exploitation affecting vulnerable women and girls. Its work addresses a range of issues, including sexual exploitation, abuse, forced marriage, illegal surrogacy, and cross-border trafficking.
AAT Thailand implements a variety of programmes focused on both prevention and protection. These include initiatives aimed at preventing sexual violence—including online exploitation—through awareness-raising, community engagement, and capacity-building. The organization also promotes survivor empowerment by supporting former victims to become agents of change, helping to protect other vulnerable groups from exploitation.

The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Center of the Royal Thai Police (TATIP RTP) is the central coordinating body within the Royal Thai Police for efforts to prevent and suppress trafficking in persons (TIP), with a particular focus on protecting vulnerable groups such as women, children, and families.
The Center evolved from the former Center for the Protection of Children, Women, Family and the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking, reflecting an institutional strengthening and consolidation of anti-trafficking functions. In 2025, it was formally renamed the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Center, Royal Thai Police (TATIP RTP). Under the Center, two specialized taskforces operate:
- Thailand Anti-Trafficking in Persons Taskforce (TATIP), which focuses on combating trafficking in persons through coordinated law enforcement operations and victim protection efforts; and
- Thailand Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce (TICAC), which addresses online child exploitation and related cyber-enabled offences.
Through these taskforces, the Center enhances operational coordination, intelligence-sharing, and inter-agency collaboration within the Royal Thai Police and with domestic and international partners. It plays a critical role in strengthening enforcement, victim identification, and protection mechanisms, contributing to Thailand’s overall response to trafficking in persons.

Baan Suksan is a service center established in 1986 under the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Thailand and operates within the National Catholic Commission on Migration and Prisoners. It provides support to a wide range of vulnerable groups, including women and child laborers, persons living with HIV/AIDS, migrant workers—particularly those from Myanmar, Cambodia, and Lao PDR—and Thai workers employed overseas.
The Center offers shelter and protection for victims of trafficking, ensuring access to safe accommodation and essential services. Residents benefit from comprehensive support, including psychosocial care, mental health and recovery activities, counselling, and interpretation services. Baan Suksan also facilitates reintegration support and referrals to partner organizations to ensure continued care and access to specialized services.
Through its integrated, faith-based and humanitarian approach, Baan Suksan contributes to the protection, recovery, and empowerment of vulnerable individuals affected by trafficking, migration, and exploitation.

The Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center (Thai-MECC) is the primary government body responsible for combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing and safeguarding Thailand’s maritime interests.
In 2019, Thai-MECC was restructured from a coordination-focused body into a unified command center to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen enforcement, and improve inter-agency coordination. This restructuring enabled more effective command and administration of resources from multiple agencies involved in maritime security and fisheries governance.
Thai-MECC brings together six key government agencies under a single command framework: the Royal Thai Navy, the Marine Police Division, the Marine Department, the Customs Department, the Department of Fisheries, and the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources. Through this integrated approach, it strengthens surveillance, law enforcement, and regulatory compliance in Thailand’s maritime domain.
By coordinating cross-sectoral efforts, Thai-MECC plays a critical role in addressing IUU fishing, preventing labour exploitation and trafficking in the fisheries sector, and promoting sustainable and lawful use of marine resources.
